Thx for that, I understand your point now. It sounded like you were disagreeing with the points made during the interview, and that you thought that the author's investigations into China's money laundering and the fentanyl trade in Canada were bogus.

Yes, it's a new strategy the US seems to be taking, imho incentivizing its trading partners to limit their involvement in the drug trade going into the US. Almost like the US wants some protection from its neighbours in return for the military protection the US offers them.

Almost like a hockey team with a weak goalie penalizing the other teams for scoring on him, I don't think it makes sense.
