I play a fiddle, which is older than myself by a decade (1926), but not a strad. The old fiddle, like myself, is feeling it's age. The ebony fingerboard has a couple of cracks, which I had fixed, and the pegs stick a bit, but the sound still sounds great. I put a sound pick-up on it and now play with a church band. We play contemporary gospel, promise-keeper songs, etc. Still like that Virginie bluegrass, too.
