I don't understand how the author arrives at 27% growth. Taking the number of smart phones estimated to be sold in 2028 and dividing by that estimated for 2024 gives 1197.9/833.7 = 1.436. That's equivalent to an average annual increase of just under 9.5%. (Multiply 833.7 by 1.095 four times and you'll get very close to 1197.9 - use 1.09484513 if you're suspicious of the discrepancy.)
