VDH I ake seriously

Without going back over the video or doing a lot of research on the principals, it's hard to tell how much of that is VDH and how much of it is Frost, who seems to have the wherewithal to frame a narrative. I found the piece thoughtful and useful. Thanks for posting it. A few comments.

Seems to me that the word for what VDH is doing at the beginning is rationalization. It's building a narrative and then retrofitting Trump's oddities into it, imputing intent. I posted here some time ago about the shift in the Overton Window. It was one of the leading indicators of the paradigm shift. There's no way that Trump ever sat down and decided to shift it. The video uses the words, "calculated way." I don't buy for a minute that Trump's oddities are designed with the vision in mind. It's fortuitous that they can be framed into into something plausible, explainable, but the video, either VDH or Frost, is putting lipstick on a pig.

The video includes the phrase,"maga movement has grown in unexpected directions." That doesn't fit with calculation. It's more bandwagon.

It points out that the movement is essentially anti-establishment and goes on to mention "Trump's vision of America's future." Unfortunately it does not go on to describe what that looks like, my essential question.

If there was something in there regarding a threat in the next month, I missed it.
