I scheduled a pre-operation consultation for the 2nd hip replacement. Once I went to full weight-bearing of walking without an assistive device after the first month, the right leg gradually became more painful. I can walk 1-2 hours but start to develop a limp and the pain gets worse as I continue and carries over to the next day. Then the walks become much shorter. The left hip went through the same progression of shorter and shorter walks for two years until it became 15 minutes and then almost total dependence on using a walker. It looks like the surgery will be in June.
