Dog and photo lovers. A few days ago I watched the start of the Iditarod. It started in Fairbanks this year, due to lack of snow in the normal route southern sections. It is winding down for the front runners.

Jessie Holmes just arrived in White Mountain, where there is a mandatory 8 hour layover, to rest the dogs. Usually the first to arrive WM has a clear shot at being the winner, in particular if they have a few hour lead at that point. 77 miles to go. Jessie appears to have a decent lead.

Jessie was a well liked participant in the Life Below Zero series for a few years or more. He is an out lier. Several good youtubes on Jessie and his lifestyle.
