Sounds so easy and… kind of natural - Ukraine will not be in nato. So, why did a country have to be wrecked and why were great numbers of people killed or wounded, impoverished, widowed, orphaned, displaced and so on? Why could Trump get to this point in the course of a few weeks - and other leaders - never?

(I know it’s far from over - but… at least, the number 1 reason for the war is no more).
