I never met him, but my Gramp's [before he got shafted out by some dirty azz insiders] teamed up with him a year or two after he started that [back in the day] and helped finance some of Fastenal -under the table- and threw him his list of over 5,000 us based industrial distributors to reach out to to get them selling
