Brumar, thanks for the article. After Musk pointed out that autopilot was not involved in that crash, he then inserts his foot in his mouth:
100 people died in the United States today in car accidents... This happens every day. Where is the outrage? Autopilot/FSD is an attempt to solve this once and for all.
All indications are that Teslas on autopilot are LESS safe than manually-driven Teslas, not MORE.

It's a cool feature, but not something I would stake my life on.

Yet the "futurist" moron thinks he can solve this problem without LIDAR? Even with LIDAR, it's a very tough problem to solve.
