Sorry for a long delay with an answer from me - i was on vacation for a week and didnt follow any social networks.
About "peace is coming"... difficult to say exactly - what does it mean, especially from Trump speech. Here, in Russia most of all are not believe anymore to any Western Politicians, who talking about "Peace" where ever about: Gaza, Iran, Syria, Ukraine...
Russia truly tried to find diplomatic ways to stop confrontation, but all was rudely ignored and Russia was finally deceived by these Western Politicians. How deceived? "...no extension of NATO's jurisdiction for forces of NATO one inch to the East..." at 1990, Minsk at 2014, Minsk 2 at 2015, Turkey at 2022... Worst of that - they are (Western Politicians) blaming Russia in most of all world problems and any kind of crises (excluding Covid maybe).
And now again almost the same as in 2015 speech about "cease fire" for 30 days... Who and how will control it? The OSCE? For 8 years since 2014 till 2022 observers from OSCE wasnt "observe" from who's side (Ukraine or Russian) goes fire. Ex-Ambassador of Greece to Ukraine Vasilis Bornovas says OSCE helped Ukraine army in planning attacks on LNR DNR infrastructure (sott.net).
So how can we trust them?
Dear Osvaldo, almost everyone i know really want the war to be finished. But also we should be sure it wouldnt start again after 30 days or 6 monts or years or whenever. A real reasons of this conflict sould be cleared first: Nazism in Ukraine, NATO (or other war-holding) membership, genocide of Russians on territory of theyre (means Russians) living for hundred years ago, when Ukraine even doesnt exist (starts from 1917). Trump didnt say even a bit about Russians existence needs... besides he'd renewed all weapon delivery and intelli support, which was stopped before.
In my mind if you telling about peace, you shouldnt do anything for war, but now it looks directly opposite... So we (Russia) will wait for further movements around this situation and see how it will be done in real things but not just in talks. |
