Day 18: A song from the year you were born

This one was tricky—prog didn’t exist yet when I was born. After a little research, I found that Henry Mancini had a Top 100 hit that year with the Peter Gunn theme. Since Mancini wasn’t a prog artist, I went with the next best thing: Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s electrified cover.

ELP’s version injects a whole new energy into the track, turning it into a classic in its own right.
