Paul,

Intel is nowhere in the consumer "appliance"
market today. That market and the PC market
will merge. HOW it will merge remains to be
seen.

You mentioned "DEC's STrongARM variant that
Intel will get as part of the DEC-Intel
settlement." I did not see anywhere in that
release, or in the ARM homepage that they were
owned by DEC. I inferred that the connection
with the DEC settlement had more to do with
the Justice Dept (ie. how many marbles can
Intel win in one day), than with any
relationship between ARM and DEC.

Hmmmm .... Is that correct?
