30-Day Progressive Rock Song Challenge continued... 20/30

Day 20: A song that has many meanings to you

For this one, I’m choosing Forever Autumn by Jeff Wayne, featuring Justin Hayward on vocals.

This song holds a special meaning for me. Not only is it a beautiful track from one of the all-time great prog albums, Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, but I also have a personal connection to it because some years ago, I wrote a short story based on its lyrics.

Besides Justin Hayward’s memorable performance, the album also includes vocals from Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann), and narration by Richard Burton. It’s a perfect fit for today’s category.
