The company secured new contracts with an Industrial OEM and a leading auto OEM for Luminar Halo development. Additionally, Volvo ES90 was announced as the second model to feature Luminar's technology in Q3'24.
I missed my original time cycle prognosis, messed up on my initial count, so I wound up not hitting the bottom. I dollar cost averaged down, my basis lies within the vth of the 5th wave down, near the middle. 5th waves normally retrace, so before next major market top I am expecting a full wave 5 retracement, to 160 area. Remain bullish the Lidar workspace. It is a crowded work space, but also a potentially huge market.
Lazr was heavily owned by hedge funds, looks like some capitulated right near the end. 30 % of float is short, last update. ~ 480 million shares outstanding.
