This was definately a DEAL or private placement. Market makers brought the stock down to 2 1/4 to get a block buy in for 1.2 million shares. Lots of large buys after that could be to brokers who put the deal together (that's just a guess from looking at the tape). This stock has nothing to hold it back now and momentum investors should jump on if volume can stay higher than normal. We're on for a little ride now. We just have to break through 3.
