The nexus of Mark Carney, Gerald Butts, the WEF, the Chinese Communist Party and "climate scientology" is the late Maurice Strong, a socialist and close friend of Pierre Trudeau. When Pierre Trudeau formed Petro Canada, he hired Maurice Strong to be its chairman. When it became clear that Canada wasn't politically ready for nationalization of the energy sector, Maurice Strong stepped down and after some legal difficulties arising from oil trading from sanctioned countries, to avoid facing extradition and trial, retired in China, and taught business and his political model of "stakeholder capitalism" which was adopted by the Chinese Communist Party. Thereafter China quickly modernized and is now a global economic, political and military force. It was also Maurice Strong, who at the very first climate conference in Brazil, advocated using climate change as the canard to bring about world socialism. This was quickly adopted by the WEF and UN. Fast forward to today, "stakeholder capitalism" is what drove Justin Trudeau's gov't and will drive a Mark Carney gov't. Make no mistake, climate change and carbon policies like "net zero" are meant to transition Canada to a command style centralized body politic, economy and society, effectively bringing an end to Canadian parliamentary democracy.
