Wharfie, There's a lawsuit, so what else is new, about the El Salvador deportation, cuz people were deported without due process. It's easy to say "gang member", but it's harder to come up with evidence in court. Right, but Trump is already running out of "bad hombres" to deport.
It's one thing to actually deport known gang members who were convicted of crimes, even if due process isn't followed. Ends justify the means, you know.
But it's another thing to deport those who LOOK like gang members just because of tattoos. Here, the MAGA cultists can simply call that "collateral damage" that will all be sorted out by the Salvadorians. (Yeah right, but you can see how their denial remains intact.)
And it's YET another thing to deport those who don't even look like gang members, who are green card holders, valedictorians of their high school class, and smart enough to get into an Ivy League these days. Her only "sin" was to participate in pro-Palestinian protests.
Not even MAGA can call that "collateral damage" anymore. This was on purpose, all to show the nation what the consequences are for holding differing political views.
And although she's likely to win her case, the message is already clear. If you don't want to spend the time, money, and energy fighting the federal government, don't say anything that will upset the Mango Mussolini.
