And what are your credentials making you an expert in the Persian gulf matters? The closest you have been to the killing fields may have been in the comfort of your home watching it on a network TV. War is ugly, but worst than that, is killing innocent people. Take it from someone whose every cell in his body screams for revenge. Take it from someone you fought and lived under Iraq's invasion for 8 years. Someone who's closest friends and family lost their young lives to this savage nonsense. I am sure you would have thought differently if you had your face splattered with human flesh. For me, there is absolutely nothing more gratifying to see Saddam or his army get vanished off the face of the earth. But AT WHAT PRICE? "sacrificing some Iraqi civilians (or all of them for that matter)" as you have put it, I would have to say, despite my grievances, I HAVE NOT LOST MY RESPECT AND DIGNITY FOR THE HUMANITY. PEACE
