There is no war in Ukraine. It is phony. I always suspected there was something funny with that conflict. It is just a skirmish. My doubts disappeared when there was an exchange of 175 soldiers prisoners of war. One expects, in a real war, something like 10,000 prisoners, but they exchanged 175 men.
This is a skirmish that was made into war by Social Media. It is happening only in the screens of smartphones and PCs. See this photo (below) , it was a post from a US based Ukrainian who is using the skirmish promote himself.
It says, "Dnipro is under massive attack, with fires visible across the city." This is an AI generated photo as you can see the city purported to be Dnipro is illuminated. There is no power cut.
The Russians go along with all these fake because it serves their purposes.
It is all phony.
1) When you see that photos of old men in the trenches, people think Ukraine has run out of young men to fight. No. The young Ukrainians ran away and are employed as IT guys in Zurich and London and posting fake content about the skirmish
2) When there was an attempt to push the Russians out in the summer of 2023, half a dozen tanks and armored personnel carriers advanced. Were pulverized and pulled back, never to be seen again.
3) Without real weapons, what do we see? Dual purpose toys -aka drones- flying around. And that became the staple of this skirmish.
4) Why would someone want to keep a war going and reject peace? Simply because there is no war going on. It is happening only on the screens of PCs. If soldiers were being killed by the thousands a cease-fire would have been achieved long ago.
5) You may be asking, what about the buildings being hit by long-distance missiles? Those attacks are launched twice a month for the pyrotechnic effect. They are special effects.
6) And the attacks of 2022, Russians shelled the cities, didn't they? Yes. It was not tanks rolling on open land, tank vs tank, nor fighting block by block. The Russians shelled Ukrainian soldiers hiding inside these cities.
7) Once the Russians -using outdated weaponry of USSR age- pushed the Ukrainians back out of the land they wanted to control, they fortified their positions and stopped there. They have achieved their objective and the skirmish was over. But the media continue producing content, saying that is a stalemate. The Russians could no longer advance.
8) Then there are the F-16 jet stories. Ukraine has received ten F-16s. Three were shot down. As there are no news about them, they might have ended like the western tanks. Removed form action not to be whipped out.
9) But the Russians continue to hit Ukrainian targets -test-driving some fancy weapons. That will go until a formal cease-fire is in place.
10) The US concluded this skirmish is too costly to keep going as its purpose is for money to continue flowing to Zelenski and his cohorts.
