OT The whole tariff policy seems idiotic to me. it will have a devastating impact on world economies and will alienate US allies. on top of that It will probably not achieve its intended purpose of building more manufacturing plants in the usa because ceo-s arent that stupid and they realize that as this tariff policy drives US into recession and increased unemployment the odds of democrats taking over the house and then the next presidency increase dramatically. so why build plants that take years to build when the tariff policy will very likely change by the time the plant is completed? it is easy to see why the us stock market is declining and funds are moving to other countries . I hold know car investments which is just as well as car prices are projected to increase $5k to $10k per vehicle if the these tariffs go into effect. I suspect this will cause mass layoffs in the usa mexico and canada.
