It's concerning. The subject of Iran acquiring nuclear weapons apparently came up in discussions between US and Russia, and Russia may possibly mediate the negotiations between the US and Iran. Russia does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons either. Aside from nuclear weapons, one has to wonder if that's the real reason or just pretext on part of Trump admin to do bidding of Israel...
