| In spite of a lost Canadian decade under Trudeau, and the fact that Carney, if you believe his "values", will drive his net zero agenda forward, the Liberals have successfully defined the Conservatives as "Maple Maga", so nothing that challenges Carney's agency is sticking. At this time, it appears that Poilievre's only slim hope is that Carney implodes in the French debate, and to some degree, in the English debate. The BIG concern I have with Carney is he wants to transform Canada to a centralized command style economy, society and system of governance that is based on the late Maurice Strong's model of "stakeholder capitalism" that was adopted by China. Aside, it was Maurice Strong who first advocated that the issue of climate change be adopted by the left to transform the world to socialism. Fast forward, this was enthusiastically adopted by the Rasputin of Canadian climate politics, Gerald Butts, a close friend and advisor of Carney, and who works along side with Carney's wife at Eurasia Group. If Carney wins government, his agenda will beggar Canadians and transform Canada beyond anything most Canadians can imagine. This is understood in some fashion by the left and succinctly explains why the ND vote has moved to Carney. I can only hope Canadians wake up and get off Carney's woke train to crazy town before April 28th. |
