In the Eye of the Storm

What a shame. This should have been the best show yet on extreme weather. It is brilliantly edited using the myriad sources available today, from cell phones to surveillance cameras, and includes interviews with those who took the shots, really giving you a sense of the progression of events.

However, I can't really recommend In the Eye Of the Storm, for two reasons. First, they are more interested in the emotional reactions to extreme weather rather than the extreme weather itself, e.g they interviews broadcast reporters rather than scientist. (Related, there is no mention of the effects of climate change.)

Second, there is waaaaaaaaaaay too much "save me Jesus" dialogue that goes on and on and on. I actually skipped the 2nd episode after a few minutes because I couldn't take any more.

If you are interested in extreme weather it is probably still worth trying it out to see if you can stand the flaws.
