Alomex,

I don't know what their total market share is, but it is getting smaller every day. Since the market is expanding, Apple's market share would be getting smaller even if they were just able to hang on to their loyal customer base. But, once loyal Apple customers are now buying their kids PCs to be compatible with everyone else.

Having said this, Apple did quite well in January (due to existing customers upgrading to the G3):

"Both IBM and HP finished behind Apple in revenue share, as Apple rang up 11.9 percent of retail PC revenue in January. The company's 7.1 percent share of retail PC unit sales, including mail-order sales, was only good enough for a fifth-place finish."

It scares me to think what will happen when the upgrade cycle starts to play itself out.

Pravin.
