I’ve been diving deeper into symphonic metal lately and wanted to introduce a band that might not be as widely known but still deserves recognition—Unsun. Unsun was formed by the husband and wife duo of Maurycy "Mauser" Stefanowicz, formerly of the death metal band Vader, and his wife, vocalist Anna "Aya" Stefanowicz. Though their time together was brief, they crafted a unique sound that blends melodic vocals, orchestral elements, and powerful guitar riffs. One of my favorites from them is "Home." It’s a perfect example of their ability to merge symphonic arrangements with metal. While Unsun may not have had a long career, their work left an impression, and songs like "Home" continue to resonate with me. Unsun – Home Anyone else familiar with Unsun or have other symphonic metal bands you'd recommend?
