Locogringo,
If the American consumer is going to pay for the tariffs why have the foreign markets that ripped off the US for 40+ years just crashed?
Because Trump's tariffs turned a win-win game into lose-lose.

And no, foreign markets haven't been ripping off the US for 40+ years.

On the contrary, the U.S. market by far is the biggest beneficiary of global trade. Look at the comparative GDP numbers between the U.S. and the Euro Zone:

2008

U.S.: $14.77T

Euro: $14.3T

2023
U.S.: $27.72T (88% increase)
Euro: $15.78T (10% increase)

Average wages also grew faster in America compared to all other industrialized nations.

GDP per capita grew tremendously in the U.S. compared to Japan despite a huge trade deficit.

You are telling nothing but lies, Locoboy, because you don't know shit. All you think about is "pwning the libs," but that's getting harder and harder these days given how much Trump is dragging you down.
