First-quarter revenue totaled NT$839.25 billion ($25.6 billion), up 41.6% compared to the same period in 2024, marking the company’s fastest pace of growth since 2022.

Does anyone understand how sales can "surge" so much year on year, and ALSO reconcile that with the fact (I think) that TSMC is almost always at maximum capacity for leading edge and even mid-range fabrication?

If they were sold out a year ago in Q1 and sold out again this year in Q1, how can sales go up 46%?

Capacity year over year at TSMC didn't go up 46%.....did it?
