Should China wants to be provocative can do long-arm rule by making rules U.S.A.-style, and forbid all China-built ships, irrespective of ownership, from entering U.S.A. ports

That should suffice as far as messaging goes

Unclear that there are enough people filled with bad-water to do any long-arm protocol

And of course that sort of cretinocratic China-move would result in what U.S.A. wishes, the destruction of China shipping industry

Let us watch the U.S.A. chip industry as a proxy / example.
