You haven't been keeping up with my posting! <smirk> Put it to you this way, if this is Scott Miller then I invented the airplane. BTW, Unreal is not going to be a flop. It's too highly anticipated. Not only that but the Quake II fanatics will buy it just to come on the game boards and flame it out. HAHA! I frequent www.pcgr.com and check out game reviews there. What I have noticed is that Unreal is the only game that has ever had a page dedicated for it before it even comes out. It's going to fly John, it is just a question of how high. My feeling here is that Epic conceded the Xmas and post Xmas buying season to Quake II and that's the reason for the delay. I suspect we'll probably be hearing something very soon. But don't get me wrong. I don't claim to have any inside information <rolling eyes>. I only take issue with the idea that strategy games such as Civ II and Magic being huge multiplayer games. Unfortunately, Duke and the like rule this medium because of time constraints. You can jump online, do some fragging and that's it. Strategy games take time and not everyone can coordinate the time necessary with a stranger to finish what they start. So I am not sure strategy games can really make their mark in multiplayer. However, you forgot to mention Masters of Orion II.

BTW, the likely scenario here will be "Scott Miller" having failed to convince us of his value and feeling slighted and insulted will bid us farewell and also remind us what a golden opportunity we missed out on.
