Yes both ! The huge amount of money pushed into the pot market on Canadian legalization created a huge glut in pot production that is only now showing a more balanced supply. Bad policies and illegal underground supply is still a big problem but it is getting more in balance as well….this is both a Canadian and US problem.
Health studies are showing many benefits but also some drawbacks….the post by Savant on health benefits just before my post was very interesting.
My take is the market (medical and recreation) will continue to grow worldwide and Cdn producers have a leg up on supplying quality bud ,oils etc.
Brand recognition takes time and now it is starting to show with consumers very specific on the brand ,strains potency etc.
I have shares in HITI.v which is a retailer with a massive presence in Canada but now also starting to open stores in other country's
I bought an opening position in CRON.t today. I intend to add depending on conditions and market. According to a current report it has around $2.40 US in cash per share while trading around 2.39 cdn per share.
I agree this is a contrarian play on what might be a seller washed out market.
