"Wife-beater"
Check this out. The Blonde Iraqi Information Minister is now calling Kilmar Abrego Garcia a "wife-beater":
Wife of deported 'Maryland man' reveals horrors she experienced at his hands in scathing police report (Daily Mail)
The MAGA trolls are having a field day with this. Andy Ngo, for example, is calling the wife a "liar." According to him, either she lied about her husband's abuse back in 2021, or she lied about her husband being a "good man" today.
But two things can be true at the same time.
In 2021, Garcia and his wife could have been experiencing marital issues which led to the original police report. Obviously his wife didn't pursue charges for various reasons. Yes, an abused wife will often "stick with her man," but there's still the possibility that she and her husband reconciled and is now living in a stable relationship.
Of course, MAGA won't let that possibility get in the way of their agenda. They're completely drunk with power. They'll come up with any excuse whatsoever to justify kidnapping, the suspension of habeas corpus (I'd be surprised if any MAGA loser even knows what that phrase means), and the denial of due process.
The Chicago Bullshits
Meanwhile, Trump's attack bitch Pam Bondi finally produced the "evidence" that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang. Check this out:
During the interaction, authorities found Abrego Garcia alongside other MS-13 members outside of a Home Depot in Maryland. At the time, he was wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and a hoodie, which police say is indicative of gang activity. Did you see that? Wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and a hoodie is "indicative of gang activity!"
Amazing! So not only is having a tattoo (any tattoo, mind you, not necessarily one that says MS-13) indicative of gang membership, but also wearing a Chicago Bulls hat is now indicative of the same thing.
Can you believe this? Reminds me of Trayvon Martin and how he was judged to be a bad guy simply because he was wearing a hoodie.
Can't Win In Court? Resort to the Court of Public Opinion
And that's where the character assassination begins.
Clearly the Trump regime cannot win in the courts. They could not put Garcia through the court system, produce the evidence, and get the outcome that they wanted, so instead they rushed his deportation KNOWING that they would lose if they did things the right way.
And now like abject cowards, they run to the court of public opinion, where they can keep repeating the same lies knowing that the only thing that matters are the "likes" and the "recommendations."
All because they know that their hardcore supporters believe in ends justifying the means. All because they know that they can appeal to the racial prejudices of their supporters (not just the white supporters, mind you, but even Latino MAGA) and try to rule this country by mob.
There is only one way to describe this: Pure fascism.
Oh, NOW Character Counts?
Which brings me to my final point.
How rich is it to see a regime try and assassinate the character of an average human being, which this regime is led by a man who has NO relationship with the truth and NO character whatsoever?
How rich is it to see this regime attack a man based on one allegation of domestic abuse, when this very regime is led by a man who is civilly liable for rape? (No MAGA, I won't accept the old "It wasn't rape rape" excuse, unless you think sticking your fingers into some woman's vagina against her will is OK in your twisted little minds.)
How rich is it to see this regime serve as the judge, jury, and executioner based on the flimsiest of evidence, which said regime is led by a man who was convicted of 34 felonies.
If MAGA wants to tell me that a man ought to be sent to a gulag based on his "questionable character," then I can't wait to send Trump and his fellow insurrectionists to that same gulag.
Of course, if it weren't for double standards, MAGA would have no standards.
