Micronics International Signs Exclusive Sales Agreement With Celeritek VENTURA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 1998--Micronics International (OTC/BB:MCIK - news) announced the signing of an exclusive sales-representative agreement with Celeritek Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:CLTK - news) of Santa Clara, Calif., to represent its entire product line throughout the People's Republic of China. Celeritek is a global leader in providing gallium-arsenide circuits for cellular telephones and wireless communications. Celeritek operates from a 25,000-square-foot production facility in the Silicon Valley. Celeritek revenues for last year reached nearly $50 million, and are estimated to grow by 30 percent this year. China is quickly becoming the production capital of the cell- phone world. Celeritek to this point has had little exposure to the Chinese marketplace. Micronics International plans to expose Celeritek's products to more than 100 manufacturers of cell phones in China.
