What do we need for a spark?

Shares of At Home Corp (ATHM - news) and Tele-Communications Inc (Nasdaq:LBTYA - news; TCOMA - news) did not move far from their closing values after the companies announced their deal to develop software and services for digital television set-top boxes, traders said. Shares of Internet company At Home closed Monday at 33-15/16 while those of TCI, a U.S. cable television operator, were trading near their close of 29-1/16.
