While Trump is crying like a little baby, Colombian soldiers are demonstrating both bravery and experience on the front lines of the war in Ukraine:

Their numbers aren't that high; somewhere around 200 or so. But according to the RFU YouTube channel, these Colombians are demonstrating their worth on the battlefield. They bring their experience gained from years of fighting drug cartels to the Ukraine war, and they are participating in actual front-line grunt work.

This is a development that I would have never expected. Colombian soldiers fighting side-by-side with Ukrainians and other Europeans against RuZZians, North Koreans, and maybe a few Chinese, African, and Indian mercenaries.

And based on this report, the Colombians are punching well above their weight without suffering casualties of their own. That sounds a bit too good to be true, but I think it's plausible.

This is definitely a sign of a post-America future, where other nations start to step up in their military capabilities. Whether the wars are near-peer (e.g. PooTin's three-day war of choice) or asymmetrical (e.g. Gaza), we are now seeing what happens as America steps back from its role as Globocop.
