Thanks for letting me know that TCI owns a big chunk of TSXX. Texscan is pretty well known for amplifiers and fiber optic transmission products, "Flamethrowers", in the CATV market. Its coincidental that I had just called TSXX a week or so ago asking about a new product I saw in a cable industry techie magazine ad. Their mailing address is El Paso, but their engineering and manufacturing is in Juarez, Mexico. Hey, lets email Ross Perot. He'll get on their case about that giant sucking sound from NAFTA. Anyway, now that I know that they are a virtual subsidiary of John Malone & Co, I'll look elsewhere. TCI is my cable service provider (not by choice, they are the only ones on my block) and the quality of service is lousy. So, there is a way to get even. Ray J.
