Tellabs has been in business for a long time. Ciena is an unproven stock w/ only one year of experience under its belt. They are hardly comparable companies. Tellabs has a more seasoned management team. If you want to take a flyer in the DWDM technology, why not check out Uniphase, who supplies the laser for DWDM?
