Few companies actually have an antenna engineer or even the specialized equipment that is necessary. Even most electronics engineers really don't have much training in antenna test and evaluation. I just happen to have a lot of experience as I have several antenna developments of mine own for amateur radio usage and I work in a lab that does antenna field testing - although my work is with lasers.
