Hi Jack: My first guitar I acquired when I was 15 yrs old (still my main axe) is a 1958 Martin D-18 in very good condition which acquired a few scratches over 35 yrs. I picked up a 1978 D-28 12 string (also Martin) a few yrs. ago. Have a Fender strat for goofing around with my kid who plays electric base. All in all, music keeps me sane in an insane world. I've never considered myself a pro but I enjoy folk, blugrass and some contemporary if I can figure it out. Write a little too. Learned to play by ear over the years and really respect those that play for a living. Would like to get more serious when I'm rich. Until then I'll just keep having fun...finger pickin' Irv
