Check this out, Eric:

Trump: I think Putin may just be 'tapping me along' (Business Insider)

Trump suggested that Putin could bring the situation to the point where US President takes Ukraine's side (UNN.ua)

Keep in mind, though, that Trump still hates Zelensky's guts, and Trump still gets a hard-on for sHiRtLeSs PooTin ...
When asked if there was anything Putin could do to make him say, "You know what? I'm on Zelenskyy's side now," Trump replied, "Not necessarily on Zelenskyy's side, but on Ukraine's side, yes. But not necessarily on Zelenskyy's side."
Trump is by far the weakest president ever when it comes to foreign policy.

Even a policy of strict isolationism takes strength. I keep pointing this out to Miraje, perhaps this thread's strongest advocate of isolationism when it comes to Ukraine. But he has yet to say anything, perhaps because he knows Trump continues to fukk up our foreign policy with extreme and utter hubris.
