Madame Frahziohr: I think you are right!... What fascinates me is that, from a T.A. point of view, ALTA is a completely different animal than most other gold stocks. ALTA is bouncing happily against its upper Bollinger band while many gold stocks are hugging their own, but... the inferior band instead!. Actually the XAU is getting squeezed by its own Bollinger bands.... and often a sudden rise or fall in price could ensue. Tough to predict the short term move for the XAU right now: a sudden drop would be actually favorable and lead to a rubber band effect with a good rise of gold stocks. Yes, I agree, it looks as if we are going to see $2 very soon (hopefully) because ALTA is dirt cheap at this level as compared to many other gold mines and that some investors are now not afraid to grab some of those cheap ALTA shares. I think (IMHO) that Greenspan is not going to say too much tomorrow, as there are no benefits in getting this stockmarket too exuberant,.... and that in 2 weeks he is going to try to slow it down if the DOW and other indexes are still rising. I cannot believe DELL's move. Crazy. I am keeping some ammunition to short some stocks... possibly DELL. Some will have to take some profits at that level, meguesses. Actually I will short some tomorrow morning ... I can't resist it! I made some money in shorting DELL at $78 last year (a crazy move retrospectively)... I have to try that again. Good luck Barbara... and order yourself a gold coin with your ALTA profit! Nothing better than touching some of those!... Fran‡ois
