He let the free market work as intended.

Despite his initial dreams of transforming the market into some sort of "green economy," Brandon later backed away from his utopian agenda. Or maybe he forgot about it because of his dementia.

Either way, it just shows that doing (relatively) nothing is infinitely better than what the Orange Dumbass is doing right now.
