ISPs: No On IE4? zdnet.com

Just a wisp of a story here.

Scott Paine, project manager for Internet Training Corporation, a reseller specializing in creating customized applications for end-users of ISPs, says, "We take more technical support calls based on IE4 than all other calls combined. They all start, `One of my users installed IE4 and now his computer doesn't boot. What can I do?' "

Tell him to get out that DOS disk, reformat, and reinstall, of course. Advise him that it's all part of the integrity and uniformity of the Windows experience.

Cheers, Dan.
