No, the wheels are falling off because it's physically impossible, as in: the physics simply disallows it. It's ironic that anybody would consider as sustainable the very basis of our survival transitioning to wind and solar which are unsustainable without government subsidies and the very things that they are supplanting. A wind farm will never recover the (so-called "unsustainable") energy used up to manufacture it in its lifetime.
