To all, just some very far fetched speculations,

about what 'they know and we don't know' or better what they
might speculate on.

1. Radica's main market is US, 80 or 90% (not sure), so very dependant on sales in the US.

2. RADAF production in China, I seem to remember some posts far
back mentioning special privileged import status for China into US
with reduced import duties. Conclusion higher import duties
would have direct negative impact on earnings.
( Please correct me if I got this all wrong)

3. Drastically increased US trade deficit, mainly Asia/China related.
Lots of criticism for Mr Clinton, and pressure to do something
about. something would be in the nature of higher import duties
to protect US industry.

4. Iraq crisis - UN security council - China openly opposed US.
Mr Clinton didn't like it at all.... but can't get even on the subject
ot that playing field.

5. Add 3 and 4 and a few weeks delay, so that it is not too obvious
a link for everybody, and Mr Clinton announces increased duties
on Chinese imports, to handle trade deficit. A financial sting and
a clear signal to China, not to mess with
the US interests in the future.....

All above is only my very personal speculations, no inside info !!
But this would be well in line with 'the nastier world of big politics games' compared to the nice world 'of electronic games'.
and fit US tradition of reprimanding 'bad sports' by using their
economical leverage and at the same time make up for some
badly needed image loss for Mr Clinton in the US.

I hope my speculations are proven wrong, because I like the
potential of this company and recently moved a chunk on my
savings into this stock. But I had this speculation going through
my mind all evening and needed to find out whether this might be
plausible.
