Here's part of the cost for your parasitic behaviour. $1.6 trillion in debt that you won't pay for. You can't pay for anything so the rest comes from those of us that can. When Alberta leaves there will be even less that can pay for your parasitic behaviour.

Canada's federal debt, as of December 2023, stood at $1,173.01 billion. The debt-to-GDP ratio for Canada's general government was 107.50% in 2023, according to Trading Economics.

Ontario's provincial government debt is significant and continues to grow. The most recent data indicates a projected net debt of $429 billion by the end of the current fiscal year. This figure is considerably higher than the $398 billion projected for the previous fiscal year. Ontario's debt-to-GDP ratio is also a concern, currently at 37.8% and projected to increase. Interest payments on this debt are substantial, with the province expected to spend $12.7 billion in 2024-25.
