Before Trump got elected, USA had the equivalent of a 2.5% tax on imports for most countries. Stock market was hitting new all time highs, unemployment rate was low, but inflation was extremely high. That was Biden 's undoing.

Time to get real here:

The working class is not going to play Jesus Christ for Donald Trump. This talk of "short term pain for long term gain" will not fly with the working class if inflation rears its ugly head again and the inflation rate is climbing.

In short: the working class views the first 100 days of the Trump administration as a failure.

And as long as I am on the target of Jesus Christ, let me say this: Jesus is popular with many because the American public is largely scared shit of death and doesn't want to drop dead. If faith and being a good person is all it takes for eternal life, many will sign up for that.

The working class lives in the here and now. Trump is not offering salvation. He is no Jesus Christ.

You may be a Trump devotee, but the working class is not.
