We've been told (promised) by Bondi that attacks on Teslas are "nothing short of domestic terrorism." There is no ambiguity in what has been declared. (And nobody hinted that federal charges might not stick in attacks on Teslas.) But there is clearly a reluctance to follow through on the "get tough on Tesla vandals" statements. While the DOJ might pursue the most egregious firebomb crimes, individual Tesla owners who have politically motivated vandalism to their vehicles aren't getting the justice they were promised.
