Hi Bear; I decided to play the market full time, starting in April. I'm going to stick to simple longs and shorts, with margin, but no more derivatives, as I computed that despite being on the right side of a lot of big moves last year I nevertheless lost money on them. I'm also going to be using a direct connect to Nasdaq with level 2 quotes, etc., and will do it full time. I can hardly wait to start. I plan on short-term / daytrading value dead cat bounces (I've been doing this for 10 years and have gotten pretty good at it.) I also plan on daytrading over priced junk susceptible to sudden drops, (on the short side, of course). Should be fun. I haven't had time to follow the thread cause I told my company to take a long walk on a short dock, got hired back as a contractor, and now have a big penalty clause if I don't get a project running by mid March. I'll stop by more often after then. Right now I'm waiting for a silicon compiler (Altera) to fit and route an FPGA. -- Carl
