Brief synopsis up at RFID Journal of keynotes from day one at RFID Live, including UPS. This was clearly thrown together very quickly, hopefully more detailed reporting will follow in the coming days.

UPS - mistakes are down 70%, RFID is a record for the consumer of the packages journey.

BAE - interesting application and use of robots to move throughout a facility, stop in a specific location, and read the RFID inventory. BAE snip - Copeland explained to the crowd the benefits of the deployments of RFID robots, which patrol on a pre-defined schedule and use fixing techniques to give positional information of tags, while increasing location accuracy and stock-checking.
