Tariffs: it's not playing out that way so far. Whatever happened to Canada shutting down our power grid? As I see it, Europe is now scrambling to prevent the dumping of Chinese goods on its industry, which was already extremely protectionist. Where else they gonna dump? The only reason other countries have been able to buy goods from China is because they have had trade surplus with the U.S. Not anymore, as far as they can tell. This is all quite entertaining.

As for Canada, people don't realize how bad things are up there. The country has been infiltrated by China and has been considered a major security threat by every U.S. intelligence agency under Biden or Trump. Canada is unable and possibly unwilling to do anything about it. Unable due to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. U.S. authorities cannot even get a wiretap there on known criminals. Unwilling because... well that should be obvious.

Please Google or ask Chatgpt, "What is the Vancouver model?" In short, it's a transnational drug and money laundering syndicate involving China, Canada, and Mexico. The record $3.1 Billion fine by U.S. authorities on T.D. Bank for money laundering should have opened some eyes. It's all there, open source information. Canada had previously looked into the matter. Their fine on TD Bank: $6.7 million (US).

Canada has very little regulatory or criminal oversight and basically no military. I'm pretty sure Trump's reference to the "51st state" is just piggybacking civil unrest in the west, namely Alberta, where a growing number of citizens wish to secede, the recent election of Prime Minister Carney being the tipping point. They say if Alberta goes, so too will Saskatchewan and British Columbia, however unlikely any of this is.

I just find it all fascinating. It first came to my attention earlier in the year when everyone scoffed, "Wtf? Why Canada?!?!" So I looked into it. As it turns out, Canadian journalist Sam Cooper and famed "activist" short-seller Marc Cohodes have been investigating Canada for a decade. In their words, everything they have been warning about has come true. Neither one has political affiliations. Cohodes jokes that although he refers to Canada as "Arctic Mexico", ironically he is probably the most patriotic Canadian of all, because he has no skin in the game. Both Cohodes and Cooper have a growing list of contacts within both U.S. and Canadian intelligence, law enforcement, and governmental agencies. Here is Cooper and Cohodes sounding the horn earlier in the year:

* Key: RCMP = Royal Canadian Mounted Police. CCP = Chinese Communist Party. CBC = Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

youtu.be

Cohodes: "Trump's basically gonna go to Canada and say, 'You got a choice. You can either keep playing ball with the CCP, or you can play ball with us.'"

Hahaha. I believe the first meeting with new Prime Minister Mark Carney was yesterday.

Cooper: "The money laundering... Toronto and Vancouver are command and control. This is the U.S. government saying it openly; I have on-the-record interviews. (Chinese) Triads run money laundering in the Western hemisphere for Latin American cartels that do the distribution and do the murders. It's a Chinese... you could call it a 'corporate operation' run out of Canada."

Most all of the money ends up in real estate, inflating prices beyond belief, so a growing breed of millionaires are not complaining.
